Goibibo not refunding full amount

I have booked the flight for Mumbai to Phuket of Thai Vietjet Air PNR no BVNSD9 for 18th May 2026 with Rs.30760. The same has been cancelled by airlines stating that management decision the flight has been cancelled and full refund will be provided along with 1000 baht as gift .
I have cancelled the same and requested for refund with airlines and Goibibo.
The Goibibo portal has just transfer Rs.22621 and 1486. And the rest amount of around Rs. 5000 they have deducted as service fare.
My question is if i have not used your service only then why are u deducting as service charges.
Kindly refund the whole amount as whatever i have paid for booking.

We are outlining the first step to be taken before filing a case in the Consumer Forum against Goibibo.

Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted the company via email or customer care and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.

We recommend that you first send an email to the customer care department of the Goibibo (grievanceofficer@goibibo.com), clearly outlining your concerns, that no room was provided even after pre-booking and requesting for Compensation and also ask them to Refund the amount.

This step not only gives the Goibibo a chance to compensate and refund but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later..
