I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the highly unprofessional handling of my recent order placed on 10th April 2025, for replacing the lenses of my mother’s spectacles. The promised delivery date was 21st April, but upon visiting the store on that date, I was informed—only after my inquiry—that my frame had been damaged by your team.





Shockingly, I was not informed about this damage for 11 days, and the issue was only disclosed when I personally followed up on the delivery date. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially given that the spectacles are essential for my 55-year-old mother, who has been facing serious discomfort and vision issues due to this prolonged delay.

I was then assured that a replacement frame and lenses would be provided at the earliest. However, on 25th April, upon my next inquiry, I was told that the order hadn’t even been placed yet. This clearly reflects negligence, carelessness, and poor customer service on Lenskart’s part.

Had I been informed earlier, a quicker resolution could have been arranged. Instead, the inaction and lack of responsibility have caused undue hardship to my mother.

⚖️ Legal Precedents

In a similar case, Lenskart Solutions Pvt. Ltd. V/S Suman Sukhija, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission held the Lenskart liable and directed to refund amount of ₹12,791/- to the complainant along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of this complaint till realization and to pay ₹1000/- to the complainant as costs of litigation. The complainant shall, however, keep all the spectacles in her possession as agreed upon by the Lenskart.
