I am raising this complaint regarding the unauthorised/incorrect vehicle sale record and the unauthorised deactivation/transfer of the Suzuki Connect service associated with my vehicle.

I had already served a legal notice on the opposite parties approximately one month ago, specifically raising these issues and calling upon them to provide a proper explanation and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and losses caused to me.

Although the underlying issues have subsequently been rectified, the opposite parties have failed to provide any clear, satisfactory or proper explanation as to how the vehicle was shown as sold/transferred without my authorisation and how the Suzuki Connect service was deactivated/transferred without my consent. Mere rectification of the problem does not address the inconvenience and loss suffered by me or absolve the opposite parties from explaining the circumstances that led to the issue.

Further, the Suzuki Connect feature is a paid service, for which I was entitled to receive the service associated with my vehicle. Due to the actions/issues attributable to the opposite parties, I was unable to use the Suzuki Connect feature for approximately four months. Thus, I was deprived of a paid service for a substantial period despite having purchased/paid for the same.

Despite my legal notice and repeated efforts to obtain a proper resolution, the opposite parties have neither provided a satisfactory explanation nor offered any appropriate compensation for the four-month deprivation of the paid Suzuki Connect service, the inconvenience, mental distress, loss of time and other difficulties caused to me.

Therefore, I seek a clear and written explanation from the opposite parties regarding the unauthorised/incorrect vehicle sale record and the deactivation/transfer of Suzuki Connect, along with appropriate compensation for the period during which the paid Suzuki Connect service was unavailable to me and for the inconvenience and losses suffered as a consequence of the acts/omissions of the opposite parties.

The purpose of this complaint is therefore not merely to seek rectification of the technical/record-related issue, which has already been done, but to seek accountability, a proper explanation and fair compensation for the loss and inconvenience already suffered by me.

Hello @Adv. Shameensha

We have carefully reviewed the details against Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd., and Maruti Suzuki True Value (Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd.), Kochi.

As per your submission, your Maruti Suzuki Swift ZXI was incorrectly recorded as sold in Maruti's system without your authorization, following which the Suzuki Connect service linked to your vehicle was also unauthorisedly deactivated and transferred. As a result, you were deprived of the paid Suzuki Connect service for approximately four months.

While the technical records have since been rectified, the opposite parties have failed to provide any satisfactory written explanation as to how the vehicle was shown as sold without your consent and how the paid service was deactivated. You have already served a legal notice one month ago, to which no proper response or compensation has been offered.

You are seeking a clear written explanation and appropriate compensation for the four-month loss of a paid service, along with accountability from the responsible parties.

Since a legal notice has already been served without satisfactory response, we strongly suggest you now proceed to file a formal case at e-jagriti.gov.in against all three parties at the following registered addresses:
