Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Varun Nela, S/o. N.V.Ramesh Babu, aged 42 years, Occupation: Business, Resident of Hyderabad, Telangana. I have purchased a car battery from AMARON BATTERIES authorized dealer "HARSHA AGENCIES" located at Plot no.53, Survey No.11/6, Ayyappa Society, Hyderabad, with GSTIN/UNI: 36AGQPB6160Q1ZT, code: 36, registered mobile: 9000515333, battery purchased date was on 27-04-2023 and on 15-04-2026 the purchased battery became dead, that is with in less than 36 months(Typical battery lifespan is 4-7 years), as the battery sold was manufactured in 09/2022 which is 7+months old already at the time of purchase.
At the time of purchase itself I have clearly requested the dealer to install the latest battery not more than a month old as it gives more lifespan (a car battery’s life begins from the day it is produced (manufactured).

Due to sudden failure of battery while I was travelling, resulted in bad struggle along with adhoc expenses for getting the car started and travelling back. I tried approaching the dealer and also the customer support team of AMARON BATTERIES for reporting the mistake created by dealer by selling the outdated battery at full cost, but none of them are willing to take ownership.

Nor the company or the dealer agreed to provide free battery replacement along with the recovery damages took place for selling the old battery, by saying that the warranty period of 30months was expired. Here the issue is clearly regarding the lifespan of the battery which should have been 7+ more months if they have sold the latest battery as per the purchase month when requested.

Hello @VARUNNELA

We read through your post and here is a quick summary — please let us know if anything needs a correction.

You purchased an Amaron car battery on 27th April 2023 from authorized dealer Harsha Agencies, Ayyappa Society, Hyderabad. At the time of purchase, you had specifically requested a fresh battery not older than a month. However, the battery sold to you was already manufactured in September 2022 — over 7 months old at the time of sale. The battery died on 15th April 2026, well within what its lifespan should have been had a fresh unit been provided as requested.

Both the dealer and Amaron customer support have refused to take responsibility, citing warranty expiry — completely ignoring the fact that the battery's shortened life was a direct result of selling an outdated stock at full price.
