Hi Team,
I already contacted makemytrip agent on 17th April, 2026, and I already discussed everything with them regarding my trip , and the agent told me that Refund process depends on the Etihad airlines and cancelled my ticket ,from then I am recieving messages from Makemytrip which is attached below and no refund uptil now and its showing refund in process in the app, where it was about to resolved in 24-48 working hrs but still its pending.
After this many days, today I contacted Etihad Airlines and the agent from Etihad told me that they will definitely process the refund but they didn’t received any mail from Makemytrip for my concern.
I travelled from Mumbai to Chicago via Abu dhabi on 14th March,2026,but to some reason I was not granted the admission at Chicago airport and I was sent back to India from the same flight on next day flight with PNR number :9RILHS , and at Mumbai airport Etihad Airways took 54000/- INR from me ,of which I have receipts too.
Now I am in India and my return ticket was on 31st May, 2026 from Atlanta to Ahmedabad via Abu Dhabi with PNR Number:9RH8JQ
Still the status is showing pending in makemytrip and they cancelled my ticket and sent the message the query has been resolved ,but I have not received my refund.
Please find the attached images regarding refund from makemytrip and also the receipt of the paid amt at mumbai airport.I don't want any excuses,already makemytrip took so much time to give my refund so now I want my refund as soon as possible.
Where is my refund if my query is resolved ?I haven't received yet.
I have tried reaching makemytrip many times through calls and mails but no response very bad and disappointing ,you guys are cheating on customers especially when it comes to refund .
