To the Amazon India Grievance Officer,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a distressing experience with a recent order placed on your platform.

The Issue: I placed this order on 6 February 2026 with a promised delivery date of 14 February 2026. Despite waiting for the entire duration, I received no shipment updates or tracking details during this period. On 15 February 2026 - a day after the promised delivery - the order was automatically cancelled without my consent or prior intimation.

Financial Prejudice: Upon contacting customer support to re-order the item, I discovered that the price has now hiked by approximately 50% compared to my original purchase price of ₹880.00 .

It is unacceptable that I am being forced to pay a higher price due to the seller's inability to fulfill the order or Amazon's logistical failure. As a customer, I should not bear the financial burden of this difference (₹880 vs. ₹1300).

My Demands:

  1. Price Protection: I request that you facilitate a replacement order for the same item at the original price of ₹880.00 , or provide a promotional credit equivalent to the price difference so I can re-order it immediately without extra cost.
  2. Accountability: I require a clear explanation regarding why the order was cancelled after the delivery date passed and who is responsible for this lapse.
Legal Notice: I have attempted to resolve this through standard support channels without success. If this issue is not resolved swiftly and the price difference is not covered, I will be compelled to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Court for deficiency of service and unfair trade practices.

I expect a substantive response and a resolution within 48 hours.
