Hello
@dilgeetha2105
We have read your post carefully and here is a quick summary of what we have understood — please go through it and point out anything that needs a correction.
You purchased a
3-year course package from BYJU'S (Think and Learn Pvt. Ltd.) covering
8th, 9th, and 10th standard for the academic years 2023–24, 2024–25, and 2025–26, with a total course value of
₹1,25,000. You made an advance payment of
₹15,000 via PhonePe on
29th April 2023, along with an ECS arrangement of
₹9,167 per month for 12 months through your wife's Canara Bank account — all payments of which were duly completed by May 2024.
The first year (8th standard) was completed as promised. However, from the
second year onwards, classes simply stopped without any prior notice or explanation. When you tried reaching out through their helpline, there was no response, and the study centres were found to be
shut down. You paid in full for three years but received only one year of service, and are now seeking a
refund for the remaining two years along with compensation.
We are outlining the
first step to be taken before filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted
BYJU'S (Think and Learn Pvt. Ltd.) via email and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.
