Hello @M Sharanabasava

I understand that you've already submitted the documents regarding your crop insurance claim under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) with Tata AIG General Insurance. Given that the field officer inspected your land on December 14, 2024, and assured a settlement within 2–3 months, the delay in disbursing the insured amount of ₹1,35,979 is indeed concerning.

📌 Next Steps to Expedite Your Claim

1. Follow Up with Tata AIG

  • Customer Care: Call Tata AIG's customer care at 1800 209 3536 to inquire about the status of your claim.
  • Email Communication: Send a detailed email to their official customer service address, referencing your policy number CSC001-1424387 and the complaint number 2412310983165.

2. Escalate to the Insurance Ombudsman

If there's no satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe, you can escalate the matter to the Insurance Ombudsman. The Ombudsman provides a free and efficient mechanism for resolving insurance disputes.

3. Approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission

Given the prolonged delay, you have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
  • Online Filing: Use the e-Jagriti portal to lodge your complaint.
  • Required Documents:
    • Copy of the insurance policy.
    • Proof of premium payment.
    • Field inspection report or any communication from the field officer.
