Dear Swiggy Support Team,
I am writing to raise a concern regarding an Instamart order for which I was charged a 100% cancellation fee despite cancelling it immediately.

Order Value: ₹192
Platform: Swiggy Instamart
The cancellation was not due to a change of mind. I had mistakenly entered an incorrect delivery address while placing the order. I realised the error immediately after confirming the order and cancelled it within minutes to prevent any inconvenience to the delivery partner or store.
However, I was charged the full order amount (₹192) as a cancellation fee, and no refund has been issued.
I would like to highlight the following:
The cancellation was initiated immediately after order placement.
The reason was an address entry mistake, not order withdrawal.
No delivery attempt was made to the incorrect address.
There is no confirmation that packing or dispatch had begun.
Charging 100% of the order value appears disproportionate for an early corrective cancellation.
I cancelled proactively to avoid operational disruption. Penalising such corrective action discourages responsible customer behaviour.
I kindly request you to:
Review the order processing timeline,
Verify whether store preparation had begun, and
Initiate a full refund of ₹192 at the earliest.
I look forward to a fair resolution.
