Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding a bike
battery that I purchased from your authorized showroom located at Raghunathpur 1,
near Raghunathpur Bus Stand, Purulia district. Unfortunately, due to a severe
thunderstorm last year, several of my important documents were damaged and lost,
including the original purchase bill and warranty card for the battery. Recently, when I
visited the dealership to request a duplicate bill and confirmation of my purchase, I
was denied assistance. I also contacted your customer care team, but I did not receive
proper support regarding the warranty details. As per the information provided by
your customer care, the battery was manufactured in October 2023, and I had
purchased it in 2024. Based on this, the battery should still be under warranty.
However, due to the lack of cooperation from the dealer and absence of
documentation, I am unable to claim the warranty. I kindly request you to: Help
retrieve or provide a duplicate copy of the purchase bill, or verify my purchase
through your records. Assist in processing the warranty claim based on the battery’s
serial number and manufacturing date. Take necessary action regarding the
dealership’s refusal to support a genuine customer concern. I have invested a
significant amount (₹3,500) in this battery, and it is difficult to bear such a cost again
within a short period. I request your prompt support and resolution of this matter at
the earliest. Thanking you in anticipation

Hello @krishnendra01

We have read through your post — here is a quick summary. Do let us know if anything needs a correction.

You purchased an Exide battery (Model: FXL0-12XL14L-A2) for your Royal Enfield Classic 350 from the authorized Exide showroom at Raghunathpur, Purulia in 2024. Due to a severe thunderstorm, your original purchase bill and warranty card were damaged and lost. When you approached the dealer for a duplicate bill or warranty assistance, they flatly refused. Exide customer care confirmed the battery was manufactured in October 2023 — meaning it should still be well within warranty — yet no support has been extended to process your claim.

You paid ₹3,500 for this battery and are simply requesting a duplicate bill or warranty claim based on the serial number and manufacturing date.
