Sir,
I own a Samsung S23 Ultra phone since Feb2023. 2 days ago, my mobile received upgrade message from Samsung to update and I upgraded the mobile. During the upgrade/reboot of mobile, there is a vertical green line appearing permanently on mobile screen.
I visited KPHB Samsung Service Center, and they told me that this is common problem as phone gets heated up during upgrade, due to that screen got damaged. They also said that - As my phone is more than 3 years old, free replacement of screen does not qualify for my phone that is only for 3 years old phones (Samsung recently accounted) hence I have to pay Rs.23000/- for screen replacement.
Sir, as Samsung has bug in their S/W and updates (which is accepted by service center person/engineer), due to which my phone screen got damaged, they should be replacing the screen free of cost to all customers which has similar problem due to recent upgrade. Kindly pass an order to Samsung the same and oblige the consumer at the same time. Appreciate.
Best Regards,
K Thakur
