Respected Authorities,
I am writing this to formally register a severe consumer grievance against M/s. Shriram Finance Limited (Tiruppur II Branch) for gross deficiency in service, unfair trade practices, illegal retention of the original RC Book of our Hero Destini 125 (Loan Agreement No: THIU2TW2003110001), and high-handed illegal seizure of an unrelated Tamil Nadu Government subsidized welfare scooty (Yamaha Ray Z belonging to my sister Naveena) along with her helmet.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, their recovery agents (Udhayakumar and Suresh) deceitfully summoned my father to their branch under the pretext of showing account statements, and right inside the branch office, they used threats, deceit, and coercion to forcefully snatch the vehicle key of the Tamil Nadu Government subsidized welfare scooty (Yamaha Ray Z) along with the helmet, keeping them under illegal branch custody ever since.
Furthermore, despite illegally detaining our vehicles in their branch custody, they have been continuously harassing us by sending intimidating demand notices to the borrower Saraswathi, making arbitrary extortionate demands of Rs. 69,000/-, flatly refusing to provide loan account statements, and maliciously manipulating our CIBIL records with an inflated outstanding amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- and default flags (Code 600), causing severe defamation and credit damage.
Additionally, subjecting my father to public humiliation, intimidation, and severe mental agony inside their branch office has caused deep emotional distress. Therefore, we seek the following absolute reliefs:
1. Immediate unconditional return of the seized Yamaha Ray Z scooty along with its helmet in an undamaged, perfect running condition, and release of the original RC Book of Hero Destini 125.
2. Complete rectification, correction, and immediate clearing of our CIBIL records by removing the fraudulent default flags and inflated dues.
3. Heavy financial compensation for the severe mental agony, humiliation inflicted on my father, and overall deficiency in service / unfair trade practices.
We had already lodged formal complaints regarding this high-handedness with the local Police Station and the Tamil Nadu CM Cell back in the year 2023, and following up on the same, a formal grievance email sent to Shriram Finance was officially acknowledged on October 11, 2026 under Reference No: SFLC202610142844. We request immediate intervention and strict action.
Complainant: Saraswathi (Represented by her authorized representative, M. Hari Parthiban, Tirupur).
