My name is Vignesh.I joined a course on a learning platform called Simplilearn.I joined that course on EMI. That course will be held only on Saturdays and Sundays.l attended that class for only one session.we had financial issues at our house.I sent them an email saying that I couldn't continue with this course. They are not giving any response. When I contact the team that processed my admission, they don't answer any of my calls. Even if they do answer, they tell me to raise a ticket to the website.I've been calling and emailing them for about 15 days, but they're not responding to me at all. Even when I do get a response via email, they say that this refund policy doesn't apply to us. They didn't respond for these 15 days, so they called me regarding the first EMI payment.I'm receiving a lot of pressure from this EMI department, and on top of that, they don't respond at all when I call them. I'm under a lot of pressure and feeling depressed today. This Simplilearn course has led me into a lot of depression. Don't join this course, anyone. Even after attending just one session, they are not providing me a refund or doing anything at all. Somehow, please address this issue and get me a solution. This depression is affecting my health as well. Yesterday they sent me an email, and in it, they're offering me an amount as if they're giving me charity, saying, "I'm giving you this much; you can pay the rest in EMIs. This is all I can do. I will post this in social media like x and instagram then they call me they said you remove social media post after I will cancellation process start. Then I will remove that post after they not responding me

Hello @Vickysus

We have carefully gone through what you have shared and want to put it down briefly — please have a look and let us know if anything needs a correction.

You enrolled in a course on Simplilearn on an EMI basis, with classes scheduled only on Saturdays and Sundays. Due to a financial crisis at home, you could barely attend more than one session before reaching out to them via email requesting a cancellation. For 15 days, there was complete silence — no response to your calls or emails. When you did finally manage to get through, they either redirected you to raise a ticket on the website or bluntly told you their refund policy does not apply to your case.

To add to your stress, while they were completely unavailable when you needed help, their EMI department did not hesitate to call you promptly for the first installment. You are now caught between a course you cannot continue and mounting EMI pressure with zero support from the company.

We are outlining the first step to be taken before filing a case in the Consumer Forum.

Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted Simplilearn via email and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.

Step: 1
We recommend that you first Send a detailed email to grievance.redressal@simplilearn.net outlining your issue, including admission details and any previous correspondence and request to Refund within 7 days.

Step: 2 - Offline
You can also send Legal Notice via registered post at Simplilear Head Office.

Please wait for a reasonable time for their response. If they do not respond or fail to resolve the matter satisfactorily, feel free to reach out to us again. When you do, kindly include a copy of your email to them and any response (if received), so we can guide you on the next steps.

This step not only gives the a chance to the Simplilear to refund but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later.

Best regards,
Thanks
