Yes, correct. I had asked to delete the previous messages as the agreed to refund the amount. They refunded 15K after the messages were removed. After that they did not respond to the refund of the remaining 45K.Hello @RReddy

My husband and I bought a 5 year membership from Soulful trips Pvt Ltd. They said they will provide hassle free bookings to 4/5 star hotels and resorts under the membership. They also provided a trip voucher for 3 days/4 nights to Bali/Dubai with one way flight tickets, breakfast & dinner and, a 1gm gold coin.
Requested formally on 30th June 2025 through mail. We created a dedicated WhatsApp group for communication with them. Sent them hotel selections on 6th July 2025 using their property list - which did not match the resorts/hotels they showed us during presentation.
When we tried to avail the voucher and days under the membership to Bali, they stopped responding to mails, calls and messages. Even when they responded - they gave vague answers that the bookings were processing or are confirmed. But they did not give confirmation voucher. According to their terms and conditions, we should have received the confirmation voucher at least 21 days prior to check-in (14th August 2025), otherwise face entitlement loss.
We followed up everyday for any updates on the group, but no reply. We also confirmed with the hotel selected - who denied any bookings for made with our name. So, we sent a formal mail requesting a refund for non delivery of services. They never responded to that mail. We added a google review on 24 July 2025. They called in the evening, threatening with section 499 IPC, to cancel membership and not giving confirmation voucher until review was removed. This is the second time they are threatening us - first time was when they never responded to provide the 1gm gold coin (we removed the review after they provided the coin)
They have mentally harassed us. We aren't the only customers facing this issue with this company. We filed a grievance on national consumer helpline as well. How do we proceed legally in this case?
