I raised my request to disconnect Airtel broadband connection on 7th September.
The customer care initiated the request and confirmed that I won't be billed anymore and as soon as I pay my bill my connection will be disconnected.
I received my bill on 13th September and paid it as soon as I received it.
On the same day, I removed the connection and got a new connection from a new service provider.
However, 1 month later Airtel send me a bill and billed me for the month of September.
When I called to confirm why they send me the bill, they said that our recovery team called you and they mentioned that I confirmed them that I now want to continue the connection as I am shifting to a new place and requested them to shift the connection to the new place.
Which is completely wrong. I told the recovery team clearly that I want to continue with disconnection.
There is not even a possibility of shifting request because if I raised that why wasn't my connection shifted to a new place. Also how can I even confirm that when I am living at the same place and got the new connection there only.
This is a fraud by Airtel. As there recovery team mentioned that I want to continue without my any approval.
When I asked voice recording they said they don't have it. Clearly showing the fraud that they committed.
I need my connection to be disconnected. The wrong bill they sent me be reversed. And get paid for all the inconvenience caused by Airtel to me
