I have purchased an Asus ZenBook 14 laptop on 10-NOV-2025.

After taking delivery of the laptop on 10-NOV-2025, I have noticed that the touchpad/mouse was defective and requested for service technician to resolve the issue.

As per ASUS policy, for any defect found in a new laptop within 7 days the customer will be provided with a new laptop, which was not provided to me. I made first call within 7 days, and they did not provided DOA.

Going forward, I have sent two times a laptop to service center and around 7 days spent over service center and observations. They always reinstall windows and drivers and returned the laptop and told they did not find issue. I recorded three strong videos as proof and sent them.

I have emailed and communicated to their customer complaint number stating that I am not satisfied with the quality of product provided to me and have requested for the permanent solution.

And now since tow days laptop started to restar automatically and even viewer telling me hardware failure for restart reason so I could now believe that this particular model has issue as few reddit users also reported same thing but I am not seeing any positive things in whole conversations.

Any guidance and help would be appreciated. I lost my precious time and money both in this matter as I am freelancer every hour I lost is money lost to me.

Hello @dhavalcharadva

We came across your post and have noted everything you shared — here is a quick summary. Please confirm if this is accurate.

You purchased an Asus ZenBook 14 (2025) on 10th November 2025 for ₹2,46,000 from Haripriya Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and noticed the touchpad was defective on the very same day of delivery. You reported the issue within 7 days — which as per ASUS policy should have entitled you to a brand new replacement (DOA) — but this was denied. Instead, the laptop was sent to the service centre twice, where they simply reinstalled Windows and drivers each time, returning it without actually fixing anything. You even recorded and submitted 3 videos as proof of the defect.

More recently, the laptop has started auto-restarting, with the system event viewer showing hardware failure as the cause — strongly indicating a deeper manufacturing defect, something other users of the same model have reportedly faced too. As a freelancer, every hour of downtime directly translates to financial loss, making this situation especially damaging for you.

As you mentioned you have all the proofs that support your statement, we suggest you to file a consumer case against them.

For any help in drafting and filing case, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks
