I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding the CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 16GB (1 x 16GB), up to 6000MHz AMD/Intel RAM ordered by me on 9th August 2026 and delivered on 18th August 2026 vide Order ID 402-6508267-5255517 of Amazon.
When I subsequently attempted to get my PC assembled, I was astonished to find that the RAM supplied was not working at all. I tried multiple times to contact Amazon Customer Care, but despite several attempts, I could not get through. After two to three days, I finally managed to speak with Customer Care, but I was informed that Amazon was unable to assist as the 5-day replacement window had expired.
I again contacted Amazon Customer Care through Chat the following day. After explaining the issue, my case was referred for investigation, and I was advised to contact Amazon again on 31st August 2026 for an update.
I would also like to bring to your attention that the covering/heat spreader on the RAM does not appear to be aluminium as expected; rather, it appears to be merely a thick tape/sticker. This raises serious concerns regarding the authenticity, quality and genuineness of the product supplied. Pictures of the Product Received are Attached herewith for your reference.
It is important to clarify that the delay in reporting the defect was not intentional, but was primarily due to my repeated unsuccessful attempts to contact Amazon Customer Care. The product was tested only when the PC assembly was undertaken, at which point the defect was discovered.
In view of the above, you are requested to:
Investigate the product and verify its authenticity and genuineness;
Arrange for an immediate replacement with a genuine and fully functional CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 16GB RAM; and
Confirm the replacement or Refund procedure and expected timeline at the earliest.
I request you to get resolved this matter from Amazon on priority, considering that the product supplied is completely non-functional and there are also concerns regarding its authenticity.
I look forward to an immediate and positive resolution of the matter.
