I am a JioFiber postpaid customer. In the MyJio app, my account earlier showed Bill Due as –₹0.01, which is clearly a system/rounding issue.
I then received an in-app offer stating “JioHome Recharge Overdue – Special Offer 50% off”, offering 2 months plan for ₹707 (original ₹1414). I claimed the ₹707 offer.
After this, the app started showing Bill ₹0.01 Paid, but my JioFiber account still shows “No Active Plan” and services such as WiFi, TV and OTTs remain inactive.
The plan section continuously shows “Updating account information – Your payment information will be updated shortly”, but there has been no activation even after sufficient time.
This indicates a billing and backend mapping failure from Jio, despite the offer being shown and claimed. The negative bill amount and ₹0.01 adjustment clearly prove a technical error on the service provider’s side, not the consumer.
