The complainant had taken an internet connection from Excitel Broadband with serial number GPONOOB7A210 by the complainant for which a username was provided 80####98 for which complainant had deposited a sum of Rs.2,000/ - as depositor for Router which is a device for installation of service which is basically refundable when the router device is been returned when the connection is disconnected by the customer. The Complainant has made three months advance payment for internet connection plan, the complainant was regular in paying the bills for the internet connection as his plan as for three months each. In the month of November the complainant started facing lot of issues here he requested for disconnection of the service to the Excitel company through online customer care service messages were exchanged and there was a request for Excitel company to handover the device. Further on 25.11.2022 the device was handed over to the address provided by the Excitel local broad band company. After handling over the device the deposited amount was not returned which is Rs.2,000/- for the router was not returned. The Excitel company kept giving reasons and played tactic to delay the process of refunding the deposited amount.
